African American Odyssey provides an extensive amount of information from the Library of Congress. Africans in America is put together by the Public Broadcasting Service and provides information from the Terrible Transformation through Judgment Day. Scholastic's Black Culture in America provides information on a variety of aspects of the Black American culture. They also provide teacher's guides that are very helpful. Black History Month is an archive of great ideas provided by the Learning Network. Black History Hotlist is part of the Pacific Bell Knowledge Network Explorer. Deep in the Bush where People Rarely Go has teacher lesson plans to accompany the travel through the Bush of Africa. Houghton Mifflin has some great elementary activities for Black History Month. Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl can be read online. The Internet African American History Challenge is an interactive quiz that helps you sharpen your knowledge of African American History.
