Grandview Elementary Library is automated with a computer based check-out/check/in system. There are eleven PC computers in the library with Internet access for research use by teachers and students.

As part of the library program, Grandview students participate in the Accelerated Reader program, which is designed to help students improve their reading abilities. At the beginning of the school year, students take the Star Reading test to determine their reading level. Next, students read Accelerated Reader books on their level and take computer tests on those books. They earn points for each test question answered correctly. The points are then used to purchase prizes from the AR store. At the end of the school year, Grandview honors the student in each grade level with the most AR points.
