Mission Statement

The mission of Hillcrest High School, in partnership with home and community, is to educate each student in a safe, nurturing environment that fosters high achievement, effective communication, productive and technical skills needed to compete in a global society.

Vision Statement

The vision of Hillcrest is that it will foster students that have marketable interpersonal, technical, and intellectual skills needed to compete in the workforce.  We envision students filled with "ambition," aiming for "success" because we are the "best" at Hillcrest High School.

School Beliefs

  • Parents and caregivers must be involved to impact the learning process.
  • School is a community in which students support one another to realize their academic and personal potential, both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • All students have the potential to effect a positive change in society by using what they learned in school.
  • Students deserve a safe and high quality learning environment.
  • Education is a partnership among students, parents, school and the community.
  • Stakeholders should be involved in the decision-making process to create a stronger networking relationship.
  • Students must be able to use technology in order to compete in a global economy.
  • Students will sustain high achievement by adhering to school rules, guidelines, and policies.
  • Schools should offer curricula that are diverse, challenging and unbiased in order to encourage all students to succeed with ongoing formal and informal assessments.

"Ambition, Success,...the Best,...Hillcrest"....
