Message From The Principal

                "Ms. Georgia E. Parks"

Dear Stakeholders:

The administration, faculty, and staff welcome you to the 2006-2007 school year at John P. Freeman Optional School.  We are dedicated to providing each student with the best education possible in an environment conducive to learning.  We hope you share our excitement for making our students’ educational opportunities both challenging and enjoyable.

It is important to stress that the success of our educational program depends upon the close cooperation between parents and the school staff.  We encourage parents to communicate with us and with their child about his/her experience at Freeman.

This web site is provided for the purpose of answering some of the questions often asked by  stakeholders.  If you have additional questions not addressed on this web site, please contact me or a member of my staff.  I encourage you to take the time to read the handbook thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

You are further encouraged to participate fully in the wide variety of activities offered at Freeman.  We believe these activities develop the vital skills necessary in today’s rapidly changing environment.

Again, we are delighted to have you—all stakeholders —with us at John P. Freeman Optional School.  I encourage you to become active members of the PTSA as we work together toward a successful school year.

I look forward to meeting you personally.

Sincerely,

Georgia Elaine Parks

Principal
