  • Official ACT website - get information about the ACT test, registration dates, test dates, and testing locations. Look for a free online sample ACT test.
  • It's Elemental - a great site for learning about the elements on the periodic table.
  • Writer's Choice 8 - This site is the online accompaniment for the 8th grade Language Arts textbook.
  • AAA Math - need brushing up on your basic math skills? Have fun learning fractions, decimals, and other basic math concepts while playing games. This site is a must for those students who still need to pass the math portion of the TCAP.
  • Business Professionals of America- the official website.
  • Hotmath - this website helps you work the problems in your math book. Ask your math teacher for more details. You will need a school login code.

  • Webster.com - A great place to start when looking for a dictionary, a thesaurus, and even the Encylopaedia Britannica. Submitted by Ms. D. Jefferson.
  • Dictionary.com - This site has writing puzzles and games, grammar tools, foreign language dictionaries, and several other useful writing tools. Submitted by Mr. J. Horton.
  • Central Intelligence Agency- a CIA factbook containing in-depth data for over 200 countries around the world.
  • CNN Student News - U.S. and World news site appropriate for high school students.
  • Conversion Tables - convert length, area, speed, temperature, etc. into different units and systems.
  • eLibrary Research - search any topic using a database of current newspapers, magazines, and more.
  • Fact Monster - lots of facts and figures to help with homework and reports.
  • Gallup Organization - search thousands of poll results, special reports, societal trends, and social audits.
