Mission

The mission of Manassas High School is to provide a safe environment where the school community promotes innovation and high standards to produce students who excel academically and socially, and are prepared to meet the expectations of institutions of higher learning and the 21st century workplace.

Vision

Manassas High School envisions a learning environment of school personnel, parents, students, and community working together to provide a quality educational experience for students that emphasizes high-level achievement, lifelong learning, technology advancement, and responsible citizenship.

Beliefs

We believe that:

  • Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
  • All students are capable of learning at higher levels when presented with instruction and opportunity.
  • School goals are achieved best when community resources and partnerships are utilized.
  • Students can become lifelong learners, good decision-makers, and successful citizens through commitment to continuous improvement and a supportive community partnership.
  • Instruction that is based on high standards, uses varied learning strategies, and relies on data from frequent assessments produces students who perform at high levels, follow rules and regulations, and make sound decisions.
