| ESOL is
designed for adults who are limited or not proficient in the
English language. Emphasis are placed on listening, speaking,
literacy, reading, and writing skills. EL/Civics has been
incorporated as a new component of ESOL. The EL/Civics curriculum
is structured for non-native speakers who wish to become active
participant in their community culture. Emphasis is placed
on national/local government laws and regulations, U.S. Citizenship,
and U.S. History and Culture. |
