The mission of the Memphis City Schools Adult Education Program is to prepare a diverse student population, eighteen years or older, for productive lives in the 21st Century. This includes empowering students with the necessary academic, technical and social skills to be successful citizens and workers.

To be recognized as the best service provider within the community and a critical partner in basic skills development, education, training and retraining opportunities for adults.
