You are now entering the Home of the Hawks.

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm, that I  welcome you to Oakhaven Middle/High School.  We are constantly motivating and challenging our students to perform and to excel in the 21st Century.  Doors are continually opening that provide support, enthusiasm and a high level of success for all of our students, as they internalize the vision that “The Road To Success Starts Here”.

Our faculty, staff, volunteers and community residents are

dedicated to helping our students achieve their maximum potential by providing a high quality instructional program that fosters creativity and develops cultural awareness as our students strive to become responsible citizens in a global society.

We are pleased to have two adopters from our local area, The Tennessee Valley Authority and the Airport Authority.  Both adopters work well with our students and staff in an effort to improve student performance on standardize assessments.

Oakhaven Middle/High School has taken special measures to ensure student and staff safety.  The measures include, but are not limited to:

  • School disciplined plan aligned with Blue Ribbon District Initiatives and Memphis City Schools student code of conduct guidelines
  • School Crisis Plan
  • School based police officer
  • Metal detector checks conducted regularly
  • Panic button located in each classroom and office

As you continue to browse our website, keep in mind, that the eyes of the HAWK are upon you!

                                                                                                                     Your Principal at Oakhaven,

                                                                                                                     Marion G. Brewer
