On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they created. The document was the US Constitution.  OMS will commemorate this living document that formed our great nation. We will have a week of events that show our appreciation for the United State of America and Our Founding Fathers.


Monday:  Meet Congressman Steve Cohen @ 10 am

Wednesday:  Meet Atty. Coleman Garrett and Staff @ 12:30

Tuesday and Thursday:  Bill of Rights activities in Social Studies

Week-long:  Morning Trivia Contest

Friday:  Culminating Celebration Dance @ 1:15 pm (with faculty potluck)


School Uniforms 2014-2015

The uniform policy will remain in effect for the 2014-2015 school year. 

Students may wear

  • khaki,
  • navy blue, or
  • black bottoms only. 


Students may wear

  • White,
  • gold, or
  • burgundy collared shirts only. 

Black and navy blue shirts are not permitted.  Students can NOT wear colored belts, undershirts, socks, or shoestrings. 

Undershirts and jackets must be black, white, gray, or school colors.  No hoodies are allowed UNLESS they are Oakhaven hoodies. 

No heavy coats can be worn in the classrooms.
