Members are required to pay a $10 due each year, and must submit an application to apply/reapply each year. The anti-violence club focuses one assiting organizations within the community that help indivinduals who have been victims of violence. We also focus on maintaining a violent free atmosphere by promoting peace amongst our student body. We discuss the different types of violence within our group to raise awareness of how to live a peaceful life. |

Practices are held at the following times and places: Junior Varsity practices are in rm 231 2:30-3:15 on Monday and 2:30-3:30 in 405 on Thursdays. Varsity Practice is in room 231 3:15-4:00 on Monday and 2:30-3:30 on Thursdays.

Members are required to pay a $10 membership fee, and board members are required to pay a $15 membership fee each year. Members must submit an application to apply/reapply each year. Board members are nominated and elected each year by club members. Interact is a community based club which focuses on volunteerism, and contributing to the community as well as internationally. Interact members are required to earn ten service points each semester through volunteer acticvities, and board members are required to earn fifteen. the main focus of this club is "Service Above Self", focusing on helping others and putting the needs of others first demonstaring acts of selflessness. |

This is a worldwide movement of young people and Nobel Peace Prize Winners working together for social justice and peace. PeaceJam is a youth leadership program that focuses on Nobel Peace Laureates, their work, and issues facing young people today. The PeaceJam mission is t o create a new generation of young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities. This year our call to action is to halt the spread of disease in our community, by raising awareness about protection and transmission. |

Ten mediators, both male and female, are chosen each year from 10th and 11th grade. Once mediators are selected, they are trained for two days in order to learn how to conduct peer mediation sessions. Mediators are trained to help students with conflicts such as; rumors, threats, name calling, realtionship problems, friendship problems, etc...There is no fee to join and it is a great learning experience for students to build self esteem and communication skills! |
