Culinary Arts prepares
secondary school students for gainful employment in various types of food
service operations. The course content gives students the opportunity
to develop marketable skills in managing, preparing and serving food.
Organization is emphasized as the key to successful food production. Laboratory
facilities simulate commercial food service and provide training in quality
food preparation, sanitation and safety. Favorable attitudes and relationships
with employers, co-workers and the public are stressed
