Mission Statement

Students come into our room on the first day of school with a great deal of knowledge of the world around them. In my class we will continue to learn about the world around us and to learn of the events in history that shaped the world we see today. In addition to learning facts about the world that surrounds us, we will begin to ask "why".
Why are there negative situations in the world that suppress individuals' ability to grow and prosper? Is there anything that we can do as individuals, a class, or a society to change our world for the better?
Let's press on toward our goal!
