2005-06 Registration Information

Registration for the 2005-06 school year will take place at students’ respective schools on three dates Thursday, Aug. 4, from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. New Memphis City Schools kindergartners' and first graders' parents must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, Tennessee Immunization Record, proof of medical exam, Social Security card (if available) and proof of residence or transfer. First graders new to the district must also show proof of attendance in an approved kindergarten program, and children enrolling in kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30, 2005. All other students must bring their most recent report card, proof of residence that shows a parent or guardian’s name and address or proof of transfer for an approved transfer. The first day of classes is August 15 and will be a half day to allow for teacher planning.
